Wrecking Havoc in the Churches
- Her husband was the King of England who indulged in multiple affairs…And she was “put away” by Parliament and the Church!
- Her new husband shamed her in all the courts of Europe writing “…her physical appearance was such as to have rendered me impotent and unable to consummate the marriage”… AFTER she was forced to marry him. She was then “put away” from the marriage…by Court and Church.
- A woman with a blade to her throat… by her husband, and the pastor who declared “There is no such thing as a bad marriage.”
- The church reformer who declared it necessary that polygamy be legally preferred to the divorce he was called to counsel (he wasn’t kidding!).
- After 5 years of petitioning, she got the colony of Connecticut to finally agree with her that she could have a divorce …after her husband murdered their son, their neighbor and the neighbor’s son.

This Guide is necessary for anyone who has had to handle some of the real difficulties with marriage, divorce, remarriage and the church. As an officer of the Church for over two decades, I frequently was called upon to counsel … render decisions … and handle difficult marital situations of churches and their members.
The really tough calls weren’t the divorces. They were the marriages that hurt people, grieved children and engendered spite … instead of Christian love. You’ll read this Guide… and you will either get “fightin’ mad” or you will break down and weep. The Guide really leaves you with no happy “in-between” position.
